Founded in 1989, Magellan's is America's leading source of travel supplies, offering everything to make travel more comfortable, safe and rewarding. From luggage and wrinkle-free clothing to electrical adapters and travel appliances, Magellan's has everything for the traveler.  The Challenge

Warp 9 launched Magellan's very first e-commerce website on the hosted ICS 1.0 platform in 1998. After growing to over $1 million in monthly online revenue within 2 years, Magellan's decided to bring their e-commerce system in-house by purchasing software, hardware, and custom web development. Since then, Magellan's web revenue has grown to 50% of all direct marketing revenue. The website became a critical element in Magellan's multi-channel business plan. But there were some major growth obstacles. The web development firm that sold them the system was unresponsive. Every change to the website was a costly event.
