SB Axxess Directory Made Available Online Using Warp 9 Inc.'s Virtual Publishing Technology SB Axxess uses Warp 9 VMS to Provide Advertisers Greater Value and Visibility
December 5, 2007 -- Santa Barbara, CA -- Warp 9, Inc. (OTCBB: WNYN), the premier provider of robust e-commerce platforms and services, today announces the partnership of Santa Barbara Axxess Directory and Warp 9 to provide a virtual version of the SB Axxess Directory using the Warp 9 Virtual Magazine System (VMS).
Warp 9's virtual magazine technology transforms a magazine from a static medium to a dynamic, interactive and transactional medium. Sophisticated reporting on the backend gives publishers insight into reader behavior not available with a print version. Readers of the Santa Barbara Axxess Directory can bend and flip through virtual pages as they read the online version of the 300 plus page publication. They can zoom into pictures, sort using thumbnail images and click on advertisements which provide a direct link to the advertiser's website.
"The technology we are able to offer our clients with Warp 9's VMS is very much in line with our corporate mission: To increase the value and reach of our advertiser's offerings and to provide a richer consumer shopping experience. The increased visibility we will gain with reporting capabilities will give us insight previously not available to us," said Karim Kaderali, President of Santa Barbara Axxess. "As the local leader in direct marketing here in Santa Barbara, we like to stay on the cutting edge and Warp 9's VMS helps us do just that!"
"Warp 9 is proud to provide this technology to Santa Barbara Axxess. Our virtual publishing technology provides new and exciting capabilities for owners of print properties, like SB Axxess. Warp 9 VMS allows a way for them to provide greater value to their advertisers by bringing information and transactions to consumers through the internet channel - extending the distribution of that same content. In addition, it reduces the numbers of steps a consumer must make between seeing an advertisement and purchasing from that business. SB Axxess will also be able to gain important insight with regard to reader demographics and behavior that can help shape better decisions for both them and their advertisers," stated Jennifer Harris, Marketing Manager at Warp 9 Inc.
Warp 9 provides Virtual Catalog and Magazine Systems to some of the most successful e-commerce websites such as, www.magellans.com, www.wolfermans.com, and Spiegel Brands, www.carabella.com and www.ablambdin.com.
